Our small clinic is located in Pournima House Society, right across the street from the Kinara Hotel in North Solapur. It’s easy to find if you know where that hotel is on the main road. Most days, it’s just us here handling the vaccine schedules and talking to people about what they eat for their daily meals. We have a lot of parents bringing in their kids for their regular shots, so there is usually some crying or kids running around the waiting area. It’s not a huge place, just a few rooms for consultations and keeping the vaccines cold in the fridge. We spend a lot of time writing out diet plans on pieces of paper and explaining them to folks who want to change their habits. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough for us to catch up on the endless paperwork. The building itself is an older residential style setup on Plot 10. We try to keep things simple and direct. No big flashy signs, just a door and a desk where you sign in. Working in Solapur means we see a lot of familiar faces from the neighborhood. It feels more like a community spot than a big medical center. We just open up in the morning, check the fridge temperatures, and start seeing whoever has an appointment that day. It's practical work that needs to get done properly every single time.
