Doshi Nursing Home

Our nursing home is situated in the Jeevan-Ratna building on Bhagwan Mahaveer Path. It is right across from the post office here in Akluj, so we are pretty easy to find if you are coming from anywhere in the Malshirus area. The building has been here for a long time and it has that old-school feel to it. We have several rooms for patients and a waiting area that stays pretty full most mornings. It is a busy place, with people coming in from the nearby villages. The floors are scrubbed every day, but you can still see the wear and tear on the walls and the doors. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some health posters and calendars. The staff is mostly local, so we know a lot of the families that come through our doors. It gets very hot in Solapur, so we keep the fans going at full speed all day long. Sometimes the queue at the reception gets a bit long and people have to wait on the wooden benches outside. We do our best to keep things moving along. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big city hospitals, but we have everything we need to take care of the folks who live around here. We have been part of the Akluj community for quite some years now and we see familiar faces every single day in our hallways as people come in for checkups.
