Prabhat Dairy Pvt. Ltd.

Our place is in Ranjan Khol, which is part of the Ahmednagar district. We are right in Nirmal Nagar. It is a rural setting, so things are much quieter than the big cities. Prabhat Dairy Pvt. Ltd. has been part of this community for a while now. The air here usually smells like the countryside, and you see cows and tractors on the roads more than cars. Our building is a practical one, designed for moving dairy products and keeping records. It’s not a glass-and-steel office building. We have concrete floors and big fans on the ceiling to keep the air moving when it gets hot in the afternoons. Most of us who work here live nearby in the village. We start our day very early because that’s how the dairy business works. Everything follows the clock of the animals and the farmers. There is a lot of pouring and measuring and paperwork involved. We don't have a big cafeteria, just a small corner where we keep a kettle and some cups. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps for a few minutes to catch the breeze. It’s a simple life. We don't talk about missions or visions much. We just make sure the milk is handled right and the trucks leave on time. It is a lot of repetitive work, but it feels important to the people around here. We just keep at it day after day without making much of a fuss.
