Meloop Foods is over at 743 Neharu Nagar in Barshi. If you’re from Solapur, you might know the area. It’s a decent spot for a food business like ours. We’ve been working out of this building for a while now. It’s got enough room for our supplies and a small area where we handle the admin side of things. We aren't a big corporation with offices in Mumbai. We’re just right here in Barshi. Most days involve checking on stock and talking to the local suppliers. The street outside can get a bit dusty, but that’s just how it is here. We focus on getting food items ready for the market. It’s a lot of coordination. We have a few people helping with the heavy lifting and the logistics. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait to finish the paperwork. We don't mind. We just sit out front and have a tea while we wait. It's a practical way to run a business. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the boxes go out on time and the customers are happy with what they get. It’s a simple life. We like the pace of Barshi. It’s not too fast, not too slow. We’ve made some good friends among the other business owners on the street. It feels like a real community here at 743. We hope to keep the business going for years to come. It's our main focus every single day.
