Lotus English School

Our school is situated on Old Kasegaon Road in Solapur. It is a relatively quiet area, though it gets quite busy when the parents are dropping off or picking up their children. We teach in English here because that is what most families are looking for these days. The building itself is a simple structure with enough rooms to hold our different classes. We have a small outdoor area where the kids can run around during their breaks, but it is nothing fancy. Our teachers mostly live nearby in Kasegaon, so they understand the local life here. We spend a lot of time on the basics like writing, reading, and simple math. Sometimes the children find the English lessons a bit difficult, so we have to go slowly and repeat the words many times. We have regular meetings with parents where we sit down and look through the student notebooks together. It is honest, hard work. The classrooms have ceiling fans that hum all day to keep the heat away. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many kids, there is always a bit of dust or some stray papers on the floor. We follow the standard school rules and make sure the homework gets finished. It is just a neighborhood school trying to do a good job for the children in this part of Solapur. We have been at this spot for quite a while now.
