Jowar India Private Limited

Out here in Pophalaj, things move a bit slower than the big cities. We’re located at Hajarwadi, house number 83/1/B. Solapur is known for jowar, so that’s what we focus on. Most of the folks working here grew up around these fields. It’s dusty work, especially during the dry season. We spend a lot of time cleaning and sorting the grains. It’s just what we do. The building isn't anything special, just a practical space for storage and handling the loads. We deal with local farmers mostly. They bring their stuff in, and we take it from there. It’s a simple setup. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait to start the machines again. We use that time to sit and talk. My uncle started this place a while back. Now we’re just keeping it going. It’s a lot of manual labor, hauling sacks and making sure everything stays dry. Rain is always a worry for us. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are in the village. It’s a quiet life mostly, but harvest time gets hectic. We just try to do right by the people we work with. No big speeches or goals, just getting the jowar ready for whoever needs it. We stay busy enough to keep the lights on.
