Jadhav Kirana

Jadhav Kirana is located at Shop No. 5 in the village of Mangalwedha. We are right near the Sabji Mandi, so there is always a lot of activity around us, especially in the early mornings. It’s a small shop, but we pack a lot into it. You’ll find sacks of grain, jars of spices, and all the usual things people need for their kitchens. It’s often a bit crowded inside, and sometimes we have to move things around just so a customer can get to the back. We don't have a computer system or anything fancy like that. Everything is written down in registers or just kept in our heads. We’ve been here for years, and we know almost everyone who walks through the door by name. It’s not just a business; it’s where we spend our whole day talking to neighbors and keeping track of what the village needs. The floor is old and the shelves have seen better days, but they hold up just fine. When the market is busy, the noise from the vegetable sellers carries right into the shop. We don’t mind it much. It’s just the sound of the village. We don't do any advertising because everyone knows where Shop No. 5 is. We just open up early, sweep the front, and wait for the first customers to arrive. It’s a simple life and a simple way to run a store for our community.
