H U Gugle Store

You can find us right on the Main Road in Jamkhed. It is a busy spot because everyone in town passes by at some point or another. H U Gugle Store is just one of the many shops along this stretch. The sound of horns and people talking is constant from morning until late at night. We have a small counter where we handle everything. There are shelves lining the walls and they are usually packed with all sorts of things. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the traffic on the Main Road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We have a few stools for sitting but mostly we are on our feet. The front door stays open to let people see we are here. Jamkhed is a place where you see the same faces every day. We recognize the people who walk their dogs or go to get their daily groceries. It is a very straightforward way of doing things. We don't have any fancy decorations. Just the items on the shelves and a calendar on the wall to keep track of the date. When the weather is hot, we keep a small table fan running near the back. It makes a humming noise that we don't even notice anymore. It is just a basic shop where we do our work and talk to whoever walks in from the street to see what we have.
