Guru Maharaj

You can find Guru Maharaj over at Shop No. 4 in the Shree Lakshmee Chamber. We are right across from Hotel Rajendra on Akkalkot Road in the Jodasavanna area. It is a busy part of town and the noise from the road usually comes right through the front door. We have been in this shop for a while and it's gotten a bit crowded with all our stuff. There are boxes in the corners and the shelves are pretty full, but we know where everything is. People coming from Akkalkot Road usually spot the hotel first and then find us. It’s not a fancy shop with big signs or anything like that. We just have the name on the front and a door that stays open most of the day. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we have a small fan that runs constantly. Working here is okay, we see a lot of people passing by on their way to other places. We know the other shop owners in the chamber and we look out for each other. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people who come to Guru Maharaj heard about us from a neighbor or saw us while getting food at the hotel. We just keep things basic and try to stay organized in the small space we have.
