Daily Pudharisolapur

Our office is at 149 Laxmi Nager, which is right by the airport in Solapur. You can hear the planes sometimes, but usually, the sound of our own work is louder. Daily Pudharisolapur is a local operation through and through. We aren't in a big skyscraper or anything, just a plain building in a regular neighborhood. The address 413224 is where we spend most of our waking hours. Inside, it's mostly desks covered in drafts and notes. We have some computers, but there are still plenty of pens and paper being used. The Solapur heat can be quite something, so the afternoons usually slow down a bit when everyone takes a break. We handle the local news and the daily run of the paper. It’s a lot of coordination between the people out in the field and the ones sitting at the desks here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have people who know how to put a newspaper together. The floor is concrete and we have simple chairs. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a lot of polish. We just get the job done and make sure the bundles are ready for the delivery guys in the morning. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside until it comes back on. It is a simple way of living and working.
