Zeiss Pharma is based in Baddi, which is basically the heart of the pharmaceutical industry in this part of the country. If you’ve ever been to Baddi, you know it’s a massive maze of factories, chimneys, and trucks. It’s a loud, busy, and very industrial place. Our unit is just one of many, tucked into a street that looks like every other street here. We don’t have a grand entrance or a lush garden. It’s just a gate, a security post, and the main building. Inside, it’s all about efficiency. The floors are concrete, and the lighting is functional. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because we’d rather invest in the equipment we use for our work. The air in Baddi always feels a bit heavy with the smell of chemicals and exhaust, but that’s the smell of work for us. We have a solid crew of people who know how to handle the machinery and keep the logs updated. Most of us live in the nearby colonies and have been in this industry for a long time. We don't make big promises or use fancy language to describe what we do. We just come in, do our shifts, and make sure the products are ready for the distributors. It’s a tough, gritty environment, but there’s a sense of pride in being part of such a big manufacturing hub. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a long day, but it feels good to finish up.
