Southvale The World School

Up here in Solan, the air is usually a bit cooler than down in the plains. Southvale The World School is located right by Sugandha Apartments in the South Enclave area. It’s a nice spot, even if the roads are a bit steep. We’ve got a view of the hills from some of the windows, which is a nice break during the day. The school itself is pretty straightforward. We have the usual classrooms and a small area for activities. It’s not a giant campus where you get lost. Everyone knows everyone else's name. In the winter, we all have to bundle up because the wind can get quite sharp. We spend our mornings getting the kids settled into their seats. It takes a while for the rooms to warm up. We don't have anything too fancy, just the basics that a school needs to function. The staff here spends a lot of time talking about the weather or how the local roads are doing. We have a lot of stairs, so we all get plenty of exercise. The kids are mostly from around this part of Solan. They bring their bags and their tiffin boxes, and we get to work. It’s a quiet kind of life compared to the bigger cities. We just keep our heads down and focus on the day’s lessons. It’s a decent place to work and learn. We hope the kids remember the hills when they grow up.
