Rine Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 73- A - B C in the H. P. S. I. D. C. Industrial Area. Since we are in an industrial zone, there is always a lot of noise from the surrounding machines and trucks moving in and out. Our place is full of metal pieces, heavy tools, and various pieces of equipment. The air usually has that faint smell of grease and iron that comes with this kind of work. We do not wear suits or ties here. It is mostly work boots and old clothes that we do not mind getting dirty or greasy. We do engineering work, which means we spend a lot of time measuring, cutting, and fixing things that might look like junk to other people. The floor is made of concrete and usually has some scrap metal lying around until we have time to clean up at the end of the week. It gets very hot in the summer months because the roof is high and the air does not move much. We have been in this industrial area for a good while and we know most of the guys who work in the neighboring plots. It is a hardworking environment where we do not spend time on fancy presentations. We just look at the drawings and start working on the metal parts. Sometimes things do not fit perfectly the first time, so we just try again.
