Baddi is a huge industrial zone, so there are factories everywhere you look. Our place is tucked away a bit in the village area but still close enough to the main industrial hubs. We work with phytomolecules and pharma ingredients, which means a lot of time spent in the production area. The building is large and mostly made of concrete, designed to keep the equipment safe. It gets very dusty on the roads around Nandpur because of all the construction and the trucks passing through. We usually start our shift early in the morning and work until the evening. The sound of the machinery is something you just get used to after a while. We have a small canteen where we eat our meals and talk about things other than work for a few minutes. It is a long commute for some of us, but we have a good group of people here. We don't have any flashy signs or fancy offices.
