We are located up in Kasauli, specifically at the Kasauli International Public School in Mandodhar. This is Shubhro Kanti Bhattacharjee’s office, and we’ve been part of this school environment in the Solan district for a long time. Being in Himachal Pradesh, the air is a lot cooler than down in the plains, which is nice. Our daily routine is tied to the school’s schedule. We handle various administrative things and oversee the parts of the school that need attention. It’s a beautiful place to work, even if the roads up the hill can be a bit tricky during the rainy season. Most of the time, it’s quiet here, except for when the students are moving between classes. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s more about making sure everything runs smoothly for the staff and the kids. We spend a lot of time on the grounds or in our small office space near the main building. People in Kasauli know where the school is, so we don’t need much in the way of signs. It’s a practical job in a peaceful setting. We deal with the mail, the supplies, and all those small things that keep a school going. Sometimes we get visitors from the city who are surprised by how slow things move up here, but we like it that way. It’s just how life is in the hills.
