A Genius Academy

We are operating out of House No 114 in Uncha Parwanoo. It is located in the Shant Vihar area of Sector 1. Since we are in a residential house, the school feels very different from a big institution. Parwanoo is right on the edge of the hills in Solan, so we get some nice breezes. We have converted the different rooms of the house into classrooms. It gets a little tight when all the students are here at the same time, but we make it work. The old living room is now where the older students sit. We use the kitchen to make tea for the teachers during their breaks. We don't have a proper playground, just the small garden area and the driveway around the house. The kids have to be careful not to hit the neighbors' windows when they play with a ball. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a secretary. If someone wants to talk to us, they just knock on the front door. We keep all our records in a few cupboards in what used to be a bedroom. It is a very small-scale operation. We use the walls to show off the drawings and work the kids have done. It looks a bit messy, but it shows they are learning. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to help the kids in our neighborhood with their education.
