Greengold Fertilizers

Greengold Fertilizers is based out of Ranguwal village. We are in the Nalagarh Tehsil, which is up in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Our address is Porajpura, and the pin code is 174101. Being in the hills makes things a bit different than in the plains. The weather is a big factor for our work. We mostly deal with fertilizers that work well for the soil types we have around here. It’s a local operation. A few of us from the village started this because we wanted a reliable source for our own fields. It grew from there. Now we supply a lot of the neighboring farms too. We don’t have a massive factory or a fleet of trucks. It’s more of a warehouse and a small shop front. You can usually find one of us hanging around there during the day. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers about what they’re seeing in their dirt. Sometimes the mix needs to change, or they need something specific for the season. We don't pretend to know everything. We just learn as we go and listen to what the land tells us. It’s a quiet life in HP. We like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India. We just want to make sure the crops in Solan have what they need to grow.
