Farmers Planet Organic Farms (Opc) Private Limited is located right in Vpo Karuwanatehsil Baddi. If you know the area, you know it’s a mix of different things, but we stay focused on our organic farm work. It’s a one-person company on paper, but there are always people around helping out. Being in Baddi means things can be a bit more fast-paced than the deep mountains, but once you get to the farm part, it all slows down. We don’t bother with big advertisements or making things sound better than they are. The dirt is the dirt, and the crops grow when they are ready. We spend a lot of time walking the rows and seeing how things are coming along. It's honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Some people think organic is just a trend, but for us in Karuwanatehsil, it’s just the way things should be done. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine in the lobby. We mostly drink tea from the local stall or bring it from home in a thermos. It is just a simple operation based on the land. We make mistakes sometimes, maybe plant something a week late, but we learn and keep going. That’s just life on a farm. You work with what you have and hope for the best when the harvest time finally comes around.
