Working with your sons and relatives means things are always a bit lively around the shop. The Main Market is the heart of Pali, so we see all sorts of people walking by throughout the day. Our shop is filled with various items, and it can get a bit cluttered sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most people find us just by walking down the street or hearing about us from a neighbor. It’s the kind of place where we sit down and have tea with our customers while discussing business. We’ve been at this for a long time, and the building itself has seen better days, but it’s home to us. We handle the daily tasks ourselves, from sweeping the front to managing the books at night. There’s no corporate hierarchy here, just family members doing their part. Pali is a traditional place, and we try to stick to that way of doing things. If you need something, you just come to the Main Market and look for our sign. We’re usually there from early morning until late evening, just taking things one day at a time and hoping for a good season.
