Taj Marble

Down on Babunia Road, things get pretty loud with all the traffic passing by toward Makdum Sarai More. That is where we set up Taj Marble, right in the thick of it. If you spend any time around here, you know how much dust comes off the street, but we try our best to keep the marble slabs looking decent. It is heavy work, moving these stones around all day, and our backs definitely feel it by the time we close up. We aren't a big corporate chain with uniforms or a glossy showroom. It is mostly just us and the stone. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit crowded and you have to watch your step when you walk through the space. We handle whatever comes in and try to make sure folks find what they need without too much fuss. People come in with all sorts of measurements, sometimes written on scraps of paper, and we just figure it out together. The location near the more is handy because everyone knows where that is. We have been here for a while now, watching the road get busier every year. Most of the guys working here have lived in the area for a long time, so we know the local quirks. It is just a regular business where we show up, do the lifting, and go home. There is no mystery to it, just marble and hard work on a busy road.
