Bharathiar University

This is our small office over on Pugalenthi Street in Sivakasi. We are part of the Bharathiar University network. People from around Tamil Nadu come by here sometimes when they have questions about their studies or paperwork. It is tucked away on number 3, so you have to look for it. The building is older but it works for what we need. Sivakasi is mostly known for other things like matches, but education matters too. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s a lot of files and books around. My desk is usually covered in forms that need signing. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a few rooms where we sit and talk to students. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just wait it out. It is a bit dusty on the street sometimes with the local traffic. We've been here for a while and the neighbors know us. If you are walking down Pugalenthi Street, you’ll see our sign. We try to help out whoever walks through the door without making a big fuss. It’s just how things go in a place like this. 626 123 is the pin code if you are sending us mail. We check the box every afternoon. It is a quiet existence but we like it that way. We are just local people.
