P. R. N. Computers

At P. R. N. Computers, we are tucked away at 5Th East West Street Pallathur. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is good because fixing electronics needs a bit of focus. The shop is filled with old monitors, tangled wires, and stacks of motherboards that we use for parts. It might look like a mess to someone walking in, but we generally know where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time hunched over keyboards or looking through magnifying glasses at tiny circuits. The air conditioner struggles a bit when we have ten computers running at once for updates. People from all over Pallathur bring us their laptops when they won't turn on or if they've spilled something on the keys. Sometimes we spend the whole day just cleaning out dust from fans. It’s a lot of sitting down, so we try to stand up and walk to the door every hour just to see what’s happening on the street. We also help people with their printing and scanning because not everyone has a machine at home. The internet connection can be a bit moody when it rains, so we just wait it out and have some coffee. It is just a small place where we try to keep up with how fast technology changes, even if our own shop feels a bit old-fashioned most days.
