Srivastava Traders

Our business, Srivastava Traders, is located at Plot No. A-7 in the Happy Home Colony. We are right by the By Pass near Naveen Chowk, which makes it easy for us to move goods in and out. We are traders, so we deal with all sorts of things depending on what our customers are looking for at the time. The building we are in is quite simple and mostly serves as a place to keep our stock safe. It’s not a fancy shop where you’d go to browse. It’s more of a place where people come to pick up orders or talk about what they need for their own shops. We spend a lot of our time loading and unloading crates from the back of trucks. It can be quite tiring, especially when the weather is hot, but it’s part of the job. We don’t have any big staff or a marketing team. It’s just us handling the phone calls and the paperwork. We’ve been at this spot for a few years and we’ve gotten to know the other traders around Naveen Chowk pretty well. We keep our records in big paper ledgers and don't use much in the way of technology. It’s a very direct way of doing business. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a lot of stock arrives at once, but we always get it sorted out eventually. It’s just a normal, everyday trading life for us, keeping things moving.
