Laxmi Ganpati Enterprises

Plot No. 137 in Ka Munshi Ganj is where you will find us. It’s a busy little pocket of the city and we’ve been part of it for some time now. We started this enterprise with just a small amount of stock and it slowly grew as we figured out what people around here actually wanted. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. We have shelves that are a bit worn and the floor is concrete, which makes it easy to sweep at the end of the day. There's always someone coming in asking for advice on a project or looking for a specific part. We try to keep a bit of everything on hand. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit outside on the stools until it comes back on. That’s when we catch up with the neighbors. The sign out front is a bit faded from the sun but everyone knows it's us. We handle the paperwork on an old wooden desk that's been here since the beginning. It feels more like a community hub sometimes than just a store. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet throughout the week. We don't worry about being the biggest, just about having the things people need when they stop by the shop during the day.
