Sirohi Grah Udhyog

The shop is located at the Old Bus Stand right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. It is a busy area and honestly, it gets quite dusty with all the traffic passing by our front door. We have been doing this for a long time, making things by hand and keeping the old ways alive as much as we can. Most people in the neighborhood know us by now. They stop in to see what we have been working on lately. It is a family thing, really. My uncle used to run things, and now we all just pitch in where we can. The shelves are old wood and they creak a bit when you put something heavy on them. We don't spend much time worrying about how the shop looks to outsiders. It’s more about the work itself. You might find us sitting on the floor sorting through materials or packing things up for someone who came in earlier. The Sadar Bazar area has changed a lot since we first opened up near the bus stand. New shops come and go, but we just stay here doing our thing. It’s a lot of manual work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a big fancy office, just this one room where everything happens. If you come by, you'll probably hear the radio playing some old songs in the background.
