New Kalkata Rediments

You can find New Kalkata Rediments right in Halway Bazar in Sheoganj. It’s a tight spot because the bazar is always packed with people and carts. We’ve been in this shop for a long time. People come here for clothes, mostly because we're right in the middle of where everyone shops anyway. It gets loud outside with all the shouting and the bikes, but inside we just try to keep things moving. We don't have those big glass windows like the malls. It’s just a standard shop with racks of stuff everywhere. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit down when we have a lot of stock coming in from the trucks. We open up in the morning and stay until the last few people leave the market. Sheoganj is a good place to be, even if it’s a bit chaotic sometimes. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here. We share tea and talk about how the day is going. We don’t have a website or anything like that. If someone wants something, they just come in and ask. We try to keep a variety of things on the hangers so there's something for everyone who walks through the door. It’s a lot of folding and unfolding clothes all day long. The floors are a bit worn down from all the feet walking over them. We don't mind. It shows we've been busy. Sometimes we have to shout over the noise of the market to be heard. That's just the way it goes in Halway Bazar.
