Down on Goily Road in Sirohi, you’ll find Emmanuel Mission Senior Secondary School. It’s a straightforward place, and we don't try to pretend it’s anything else. The road can get a bit dusty, and the sun in this part of Rajasthan is no joke, but we’ve got our routine down. The school day starts with the sound of the bell, and from then on, it’s a constant stream of lessons, lunch breaks, and the occasional football game in the yard. We have a lot of students from the surrounding areas of Sirohi, and they all bring their own energy to the place. The teachers here are more concerned with making sure everyone understands the day's lesson than with anything fancy. We have the usual classrooms with wooden desks and blackboards that have seen a lot of use. It’s a place where hard work is expected, but we also have our fair share of fun during the local festivals. Managing a senior secondary school means there’s always some pressure with the exams, and you can feel the tension in the air when the finals get close. We just try to keep everyone calm and moving forward. The building is solid and serves its purpose well. We don't need a lot of promotional talk because the families in Sirohi know who we are. We’re just here on Goily Road, doing our jobs and making sure the kids are ready for whatever comes after they leave us.
