You can find us over at Etmatpur Saidpur, right at Ratanpal Sirohi’s place. Abhaydan Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is just a small group of us trying to figure out the best way to handle our farming business. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except when it’s harvest time. Then everything gets a bit busy. We don’t have a flashy storefront or a big sign. It’s just where we gather to sort out the grains and talk about what needs doing next. Ratanpal usually has the doors open. We deal with the local weather and the bugs just like everyone else around here. Some years are better than others, but we keep showing up. It’s hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on the fields, but we’re used to it. We aren’t some big corporation from the city. We’re just people from the village who know the land. We talk about the crops, the water, and how to get things to the market without too much trouble. It’s mostly just practical stuff. If you come by, you’ll see us working with the tools or maybe just sitting under the shade for a minute. There’s always something to fix or some bag to move. We don’t really do fancy meetings. We just talk while we work. It’s a plain way of living, but it works for us. We are just local farmers making things work one day at a time.
