Himachal Potato Seeds Private Limited is located at House Number 142. We are right on the NH 72 Highway in Shamsharpur. It’s the main road in Paonta Sahib. Being on the highway means we see a lot of traffic and different people every day. Potato seeds are what we do. It’s a big part of the local farming here in this region. The office is right there on the main road so it’s hard to miss if you are driving through Paonta Sahib. We’ve been here for many years now. It’s a family-run kind of feel even if we are officially a private limited. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. Usually, one of us is just sitting there near the entrance doing the accounts. The building is simple and practical for storage. We spend a lot of time sorting through things and making sure the seeds are ready for the planting season. It’s very busy during the planting months and we work late. The rest of the year is a bit quieter and we can relax a little. We talk to a lot of truck drivers and farmers who stop by for a quick chat or to check prices. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or brochures. People know what they need and we show them what we have available. It’s an honest way to make a living. The highway noise is just part of the background now. We like being in Paonta Sahib. It’s a good town with hardworking people. We fit right in with the rest of the businesses.
