Madeena Bakery

We are located at H. No 2-6-94 in Sanjeevaiah Nagar, right here in Sircilla. The bakery starts getting busy very early because we have to get the ovens hot. You can smell the bread and the biscuits from down the street when we are baking. We have glass counters where we put out the buns, cakes, and different types of snacks. It's not a very large shop, so when four or five people come in at once, it feels a bit crowded. We spend a lot of time behind the counter serving chai or packing up rusks for customers. The floor gets a bit of flour on it no matter how much we sweep. Sircilla is a place where people like their tea breaks, so we see a lot of the same faces every afternoon. We don't have fancy menus or anything; we just have what is fresh on the shelves that day. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening if it's been a busy day. The heat from the ovens stays in the back room even in the winter. We just keep moving, filling trays and making sure the jars are full. It is a local shop for local people. We have a small bench outside where some men sit to drink their tea and talk about the day's news.
