Maa Santoshi Enterprises

Our shop, Maa Santoshi Enterprises, is situated in Shop No.V-3 of Ganpati Bhawan. We are right on the Main Road, which makes us very easy to spot if you are heading toward the SP office. It is a small shop, but we try to keep it filled with the things people in this neighborhood need every day. The building is an older one and sometimes the lights flicker, but it’s a good spot to be in. I spend a lot of time sitting behind the wooden counter waiting for people to drop by. We get a lot of foot traffic from people walking to the government offices nearby. It’s not a high-end store with glass cases; it’s just a regular local shop where things are stacked on shelves wherever they fit. I know many of the people who come in because they live just a few streets away. Sometimes we run out of stock and I have to tell people to come back tomorrow after the delivery truck arrives. The main road is always loud with horns and people shouting, but inside the shop, it’s usually quiet enough to have a proper conversation. We don't have any big advertisements or a website. Most people just know we are here in Ganpati Bhawan because we’ve been around for a while. It’s a simple way to run a business and it keeps me busy enough from morning until the evening when I lock up.
