You can find us at 120, Sevoke Road, which is in the Darjeeling district. Sevoke Road is always a bit of a chaotic place with trucks and buses constantly moving through on their way to the mountains or down to the plains. Our facility for Teaxpress is right in the middle of all that action. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something being loaded or unloaded at our gate. The warehouse part of our building is filled with the scent of fresh tea, which is quite strong if you aren't used to it. We spend most of our time coordinating with the tea estates up in the hills and making sure the transport stays on schedule. It’s a lot of logistics work, which means we are usually staring at screens or talking on our mobile phones while walking around the floor. The office part is just a small corner with some basic furniture and a lot of tea samples in small tins. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we have to wipe down the desks every morning. It’s a practical kind of place where we focus on getting the tea out to where it needs to go. We aren't a fancy corporate office; we’re more of a hands-on operation where everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s checking a shipment or fixing a broken pallet.
