Cuppa Java

Cuppa Java is tucked into Manoratan Plaza on Sevoke Road, right at the 2nd Mile mark in Siliguri. If you know where the Nissan car showroom is, we are directly across from that. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re driving along the main road. The plaza is usually full of people doing their errands, and we’re just one of the shops here. We spend a lot of our day just keeping up with the folks coming in from the 2nd Mile area. Siliguri is always on the move, and Sevoke Road is no exception to that. It can get quite dusty and noisy outside with all the cars, but we try to keep it decent inside for whoever stops by. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just running a coffee spot the best we can. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, other days it's a bit of a rush. We’ve been at this location for a bit now and have gotten to know the other shop owners in Manoratan Plaza. It’s a nice little community of workers here. We usually have the radio on or just the sound of the street coming in through the door. It’s a practical place for a quick stop. Nothing fancy, just us working and serving the people who pass by the plaza. We like it here on the 2nd Mile. It's just a regular part of our life in Siliguri.
