Sharp India Ltd

Our branch of Sharp India Ltd is way up in Siliguri. We are located in the Ashrampara area. If you are looking for us, we are in the Indira Apartment building. The names Amitabha Das Gupta and Chitta Ranjan Das Gupta are tied to our history here. We are very close to the Swamiji Club, which is a big landmark for anyone in this part of town. This is in the Darjeeling district, so the air feels a bit different than it does in the big cities. We have a small team here in Siliguri. Most of us grew up in this region. We know the local streets and the way things work around here. The office is a bit cluttered with boxes and documents, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time coordinating things for the company in this part of the country. It is a long way from the head office, but we keep in touch. Sometimes the rain in Siliguri gets pretty heavy and we have to make sure the windows are shut tight. We don't have any fancy marketing people here. We are just staff who know our jobs. People come by to drop off papers or ask questions about what we do. It is a straightforward operation in a nice, local neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
