Lochan Tea Ltd.

Our office for Lochan Tea Ltd. is in Narbada Apartments at the 2nd Mile marker. It’s a bit of a different setup, being in an apartment building rather than a warehouse or a storefront. We’re on one of the floors there, surrounded by tea samples and tasting cups. The smell of tea is everywhere, which is probably my favorite part of working here. We spend our days grading tea, talking to gardens, and managing orders. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters. We have some old wooden desks and shelves full of tins. Being at 2nd Mile means we are just outside the main rush, but it still gets busy enough. We don't have a polished pitch or a big advertising team. We just know tea. Sometimes the samples arrive late or the weather affects the leaves, and that’s what we talk about over lunch. It’s a practical business. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just making sure tea gets to where it needs to go. The office can get a bit cluttered with all the paperwork and small bags of tea leaves. We like it that way, though. It feels like a real workplace. If you come by Narbada Apartments, you might hear us arguing about a specific blend or just the sound of the kettle boiling. That’s just how things go for us at Lochan Tea Ltd. every day. It's not glamorous, but it is honest work and we enjoy being here. We focus on the leaves more than anything else in the end.
