Poddar & Sons

We are located over at the Gurudwara Complex on Sevok Road. It’s a pretty well-known spot in this part of town. Poddar & Sons isn’t a huge operation, just a local business trying to stay steady. The office is at number 19, and it’s usually filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and someone typing away. We’ve been on Sevok Road for a long time, watching the buildings grow up around us. It’s a family thing here, hence the name. You might find one of the sons handling the customers while the older generation keeps an eye on the books. We don’t go for anything too modern. The furniture is old, the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels right to us. People stop by not just for business, but sometimes just to chat because they’ve known us for twenty years. We handle all sorts of inquiries throughout the day. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on Sevok Road. Other days, three people walk in at once and everyone is scrambling. We don’t have a big fancy philosophy. We just want to do the job we started and go home to our families at night. It’s a simple life in a busy complex. We’ve got our routine and we stick to it because it works.
