Oswal Trading Corporation has its home on Agarsen Road in the Khalpara area of Siliguri. Being in the Jalpaiguri district, we see a lot of traffic coming through from different parts of the state. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We deal in various goods and spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking our inventory. It can get pretty loud on Agarsen Road with all the horns and people walking by, but we like the energy. We’ve been here for years, and the building has seen its fair share of wear and tear. We have a lot of heavy lifting to do when the new stock arrives, so we stay pretty active. It’s not a fancy corporate office; it’s a trading floor with boxes piled high and people coming in to negotiate prices. We try to keep a good relationship with everyone who walks through the door. Sometimes we lose track of time when the business gets busy. We just focus on getting things moved and making sure the counts are right. It’s a simple business model that has worked for us for a long time. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide what people need at a fair price.
