Bengal Safari

We are based out of the Siliguri area, specifically around Sevakudu in Jalpaiguri. Living and working here means we’re surrounded by a lot of greenery and open space which is quite nice. Bengal Safari isn't some huge international firm; we’re local through and through. The weather here can be unpredictable, but we’re used to the rain by now. Our daily routine involves a lot of outdoor coordination and planning. It’s definitely not your typical desk job. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the roads and the land pretty well. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or fancy elevators. Our workspace is more about being practical for the environment we’re in every day. Some days it’s raining hard and we have to adjust our plans, while other days it’s bright and busy with people. We just take it as it comes. People visit us from all over the place, but we try to treat everyone like a regular neighbor. There’s no script we follow when people talk to us. We just say it like it is. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak seasons, but that’s just part of the charm of working in this region. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the area stays looked after. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we enjoy the pace here. Sometimes we stop for tea and just watch the clouds move over the hills before getting back to the schedule.
