D.K. Engineering & Construction Pvt. Ltd.

We’re located in Siliguri, right in the Punjabi Para area. Our office is B/2 in Hemkunt Apartment on Udham Singh Sarani. It is a busy part of town, which is good for the kind of work we do. D.K. Engineering & Construction Pvt. Ltd. is the name on the door, but really it is just a small team of us trying to build things and keep projects on track. Siliguri is a gateway to the hills, so we see a lot of activity passing through. Our office is not anything special to look at, just a functional space where we look at plans and talk to contractors. We have been at this for some time. Construction is a tough business with a lot of moving parts and weather delays, especially when the monsoon hits this region. We just take it day by day. We do not use a lot of big words or fancy presentations. We just show the work we have done. It is practical and sometimes messy, but that is engineering for you. We like being in Punjabi Para; it is a central spot. We know our neighbors and the local shops. It is a good community to be a part of. We are not trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the walls we put up stay up. It is a decent living and we work hard at it.
