Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Limited,Mumbai

This branch of Hindustan Dorr-Oliver Limited is actually located way out in Siliguri, even though the name mentions Mumbai. It’s a bit of a funny setup, staying at C/O Mr K Senlaskar at House Number 36 on Ramkrishna Sarani. We are tucked away in a bylane in Niran Nagar, which is quite close to the Eastern Bypass. It’s a convenient spot if you know the area, though maybe a bit tricky for newcomers to find on the first try. The surroundings are pretty typical for Siliguri, with a mix of houses and small businesses nearby. We’ve been operating from here for a while, handling the local work that comes our way. It’s not a huge corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it feels more like a home base where the staff can actually talk to each other without using phones. The weather here can be quite different from Mumbai, especially when the rains come and everything gets green. We just keep our heads down and deal with the paperwork and projects that need finishing. People often get confused by the address on the documents, but we are definitely here in West Bengal. It’s a quiet life in this part of town, and we prefer it that way. We just do our bit every day and make sure the logs are updated and the site visits are handled. It’s a good, honest place to work.
