Apex Technologies

Apex Technologies is situated in the Akash Deep Building, right opposite the Matigra Health Center in the Darjeeling district. Being up here means we get to see the mist rolling in quite often, which is a nice view from the office windows. The health center across the road is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We spend our time working on various tech projects, mostly involving computers and software maintenance. The building itself is older and has a bit of character to it, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the elevator is acting up again. We have a few desks set up with multiple monitors and a lot of tangled cables that we keep meaning to organize better. Since we are in Darjeeling, the pace of life feels a bit different than in the big metro cities, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation; we are just a local group of people who know how to handle technology. Some days are quiet and we just focus on coding, while other days we have people dropping in with questions about their systems. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the air gets chilly. It’s a decent place to work and we have been here long enough to feel like part of the neighborhood.
