Trident Plastics

Trident Plastics is up on the second floor, right across from R.C Medicare. We’re located in Shillong Petty in Cachar district. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here for a while now. Being on the second floor makes it a bit tricky to move large batches of plastic goods, but we make it work. The office is usually full of samples and rolls of different materials. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is. We deal with a lot of local shops and small businesses that need plastic supplies. Sometimes the rain in Cachar gets so heavy we have to close the windows tight and it gets quite stuffy inside. We don't have a big team of sales people. It’s usually just one or two of us answering the phone and writing down orders. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years from our windows. R.C Medicare across the street is always busy, so there’s always people around. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to provide the plastics people need and keep our small business going. It’s a lot of back and forth, checking stock and making sure things get delivered on time. It’s just the way things are at Trident Plastics. We’re just local people doing our jobs and trying to keep the ledger balanced. The staircase is narrow and the paint is peeling, but the shop inside is where the work gets done.
