Qureshi Computers & E Mitra

Piprali Road is always busy. Our place, Qureshi Computers & E Mitra, sits right in Dhobiyon Ka Mohalla in Sikar on Piprali Road. Most of the morning is spent just checking the internet connection and getting the printers ready. People come in for all sorts of things, maybe to fill out a government form or just to get some papers scanned. The road outside is usually full of bikes and people walking by. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the main Piprali Road, so we have to wipe the monitors quite often. We’ve been here in Sikar for a good amount of time, and it feels like home. There’s no big sign or anything too flashy, just the name and the work we do. In the afternoons, when the heat is at its peak, the shop stays a bit quieter, giving us a chance to catch up on things. Then it picks up again in the evening. We deal with whatever comes our way, from simple typing to more complicated online tasks. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out with the customers, chatting about the weather or local news. It’s not a complicated life here in Dhobiyon Ka Mohalla, just a steady stream of people and their paperwork. We just keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it. We just hope the internet stays fast enough for everyone.
