Jawaharlal & Sons has been located at Subhash Chowk for a long time. Our spot is right behind the City Kotwali, which is the main police station, so it is a very safe and well-known area. We are also very close to the Prakash Cinema Hall. On the days when a new movie is released, the whole street gets packed with people and you can hear the music from the speakers all the way inside our office. Subhash Chowk is a central hub, and there is always something happening outside. Our office is an old-fashioned place with high ceilings and big heavy doors. We have a lot of history in this building. The name Jawaharlal & Sons is painted on a wooden board outside. Inside, we have large ledgers and desks that have been used by more than one generation. It doesn't look like a modern corporate office, and we like it that way. There are old photos on the walls and a heavy safe in the corner. We spend our days meeting with people who come in from the surrounding villages and towns. Since we are near the Kotwali and the cinema, no one ever has trouble finding us. We usually drink tea from the stall across the street and talk about the news or the latest film. It is a steady way of life and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the chowk.
