Our office is located on the second floor of S 33, 26, 27 over in DLF Phase III. This part of Gurgaon is always under construction or changing in some way, so it feels like there is always something going on outside our windows. We have a decent amount of space here, but it’s a very standard office environment. We’ve got the usual rows of desks and a small area where we keep the kettle and some snacks for the staff. Working at Danisco India Pvt Ltd means coming into this building every morning and dealing with the typical hurdles of the day. Some days the elevators are slow, or the air conditioning struggles with the Haryana heat, but we just get on with it. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s not too bad once you get used to the route. We aren't really the type of place that has a lot of frills or fancy decorations. Most of our time is spent looking at spreadsheets or talking over the phone with people from other offices. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. The area has plenty of other businesses around us, so we see the same faces in the parking lot or at the nearby coffee shops. We just try to keep our focus on the work that needs to be done before the day ends.
