Jaora Stone Private Limited

Our place, Jaora Stone Private Limited, is located right on the road that goes from Neem Ka Thana towards Shri Madhopur. We are near the school there, specifically the one associated with Dhola Ram and Mangla Ram Jat. Being out on this road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. It's a very local operation. We don’t have some big city office with glass walls. Our life revolves around the stone that comes through here. The dust from the road and the work settles on everything, and you just get used to it after a while. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We know everyone’s name and their families. It’s a quiet life in some ways, even with the trucks idling outside. We handle the administrative stuff in a small room that gets pretty hot in the afternoon sun. We don’t have a website with lots of pictures or anything like that. If someone wants to see what we do, they just pull over on the road and walk into the yard. We talk about the stone, the price, and when it can be moved. It is a very direct way of doing things. No one here is trying to be a corporate executive. We are just people working with stone in a place we know well. Every day has its own challenges but we just get through them together and start again the next morning.
