Bhawana Hardware

Bhawana Hardware is located right on Jaipur Road, directly opposite the Krishi Upaj Mandi. Being across from the market means we get a lot of farmers and laborers coming in throughout the day. They usually need things like hinges, bolts, hammers, or stuff to fix their equipment. The shop is pretty open, and the wind from the road brings in a lot of dust, so we are always wiping things down. We have piles of hardware stacked in corners and hanging from the walls. It isn’t the most organized place in the world, but if you ask for a specific size of nail, we can usually find it pretty quick. The morning is our busiest time when the Mandi is in full swing and people realize they need something to fix their carts or tools. We sit out front mostly, watching the traffic on Jaipur Road and waiting for the next person to stop by. It’s a very practical business. We don’t have fancy displays or air conditioning. It’s just a hardware store where we try to keep the basics in stock for the people who live and work around here. Sometimes we sit and have a chat with the regulars while they wait for their orders. It’s a slow and steady kind of life, and we’ve been here long enough that the place feels like home. We just do our work and go home when the sun goes down.
