We operate out of 9, Sriram Layout, near the Saibaba Mission Post. The cotton business is something that gets in your blood after a while. Our days are filled with the smell of raw cotton and the sound of heavy scales. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in from the fields. The layout here is usually busy with bags and samples spread everywhere. We aren't a big fancy corporation, despite what the name might sound like. It’s more of a family-run feel. We’ve known our suppliers for years and we talk to them every day. There’s a lot of trust involved in what we do. The weather really affects the business, so we’re always keeping an eye on the clouds and the rain. Our office is simple, just a place to keep the ledgers and take a quick break from the heat. We don't have a website or any social media stuff. Most of our business happens over the phone or with people stopping by the shop. It’s a traditional way of working, and it suits us just fine. The Sriram Layout area is a good spot for us to be located. We’ve seen the seasons come and go, and we just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s about being reliable and knowing the product. We don't make a big fuss. We just show up every morning and get it done without too much talk.
