Gargaon College

Gargaon College has its Dept Of Chemistry tucked away over in Simaluguri. If you’re looking for us, we’re out here in the Gurgaon area of Haryana. The department is a bit of a trek from the main road, but once you get here, you’ll see students walking around with their lab coats and notebooks. It’s a practical place. We have the usual labs with benches that have seen better days and shelves full of glass bottles and chemicals. Students spend hours here trying to get their experiments to work right. Sometimes things go well and sometimes they have to start all over again. The staff here mostly just focuses on getting through the syllabus and making sure the exams are handled properly. It gets cold in the winter and the labs can be a bit drafty, but everyone just puts on a sweater and keeps going. We’ve been part of the college for a long time now. Most of the people working here live nearby and walk to the campus every morning. It’s not a flashy department with new tech every week. We use what we have and make sure the students learn the chemistry basics they need. You’ll find us mostly stuck in the labs or sitting in the small office area grading papers. It’s a quiet spot for the most part, except when a big group of students is moving between classes or arguing about results.
