Vanrai Organic Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Mangali, which is part of the Bhadravati area. We operate out of the place belonging to Shri Udhavrao Balagi Pimpalkar. It is a group effort involving several farmers from the local area who decided to come together. In a small village like this, everyone knows each other, so the business feels more like a community project than a regular company. We spend most of our time out in the dirt or talking about seed prices and rain patterns. Things here move at a different pace than in the big cities. We don't have fancy computers or a big boardroom. Instead, we meet up in the village to figure out how to get our produce to the market.
